Uburu is an AI-powered personal finance platform. You upload your own documents, paystubs (PDF) and bank statements (PDF or CSV), and Uburu automatically categorises your transactions, tracks spending patterns, monitors your debts and assets, and surfaces personalised financial insights, all in one dashboard.

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest by our database and hosting providers, and each user’s data is isolated from everyone else’s. Our servers, database and AI processing are in the United States. We hold no security certification (no SOC 2, no ISO 27001), and we would rather say so than imply one. The strongest protection is architectural: we never hold your bank login, so there is nothing of that kind to steal.

From your dashboard, click the "Upload statement" button. Select one or more files (PDF or CSV). Uburu processes them automatically. Transactions are parsed, categorised, and reflected in your dashboard within seconds.

Insights are derived from two sources: (1) your actual transaction and spending data, patterns, budget deviations, category trends, and net position; and (2) regional financial guidance pulled from official regulatory sources relevant to your country (e.g. CBN for Nigeria, FCA for the UK, IRS for the US).

Four. Access is $1 for your first month, then rolls into Plus. Plus is everything for one person: $11.99/mo or $119/yr. Together is everything in Plus for two people on one bill: $16.99/mo or $169/yr. Founder is $249 once for lifetime access, limited to the first 1,000 people. Paystubs and statements are on every plan.

Yes. The Uburu web app works in any modern mobile browser. Native iOS and Android apps are built but not released yet, so they are not in the app stores. We will say so here when they are.
